The Zimzala board is a perfect beginner board due to its design, materials and of course pricing. The design of the board is simple and fun with the right thickness and volume to make life easy. This makes paddling easier and will give you that extra time that you need when starting. Timing is everything in surfing your timing to get to the wave, pop up on a wave, create speed on a wave which will allow you to do manoeuvres. The Zimzala gives you that time!
The materials are a huge part of this board starting from the core being a combination of wooden stringers and a fibre glass stringer which allows for a lot of strength but still the flex in which a board needs. Making it stronger but at the same time neither stiff nor heavy making it an ideal combination. Zimzala is made of an EPS foam of certain density and matched with a super soft deck which not only adds to the volume but gives you that extra boost of confidence and safety.
With all of these features and at such a great price the Zimzala is a great board to start or add to your quiver.
